This course is open to all University of Maryland graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.  The course will meet synchronously online for five Friday sessions, February 2- March 1, 2024, from 1:30-3:00pm. The goal of the course is to provide students with a range of tools and strategies to strengthen their writing at the graduate level. Students will learn to recognize and respond to the requirements of writing situations in their disciplines and to develop strategies for composing, structuring, and revising prose.  Students will bring examples of writing they are working on in their graduate courses as examples to develop and refine.
